This place is a midcoast gem. We did takeout almost weekly this summer and have been getting delivery since November. Everything is delicious and the dishes are of consistent high quality week to week. It's also nice that they occasionally rotate some different dishes in to give regulars something new to try (e.g., banana curry this week, dum aloo last week). The malai kofta is probably our favorite dish but everything is delicious (and the lassi is frothy fun to drink along with the food). Very kind, hospitable people even in this challenging, socially-distant time. Highly recommended. Our only wish is that they were open every day! (The photo is from an October thali meal they offered. We had the great coastal view outside the restaurant to ourselves.)

It was good for vegetarian! I would really love an option for chicken, but overall it was good! The gentleman who greeted me and helped me was very kind. Takeout place and the option to order online.
Lovely South Indian restaurant with a few expected North Indian dishes. Note that Gujarati food has more dishes sweetened slightly, including lentils. Their spiced banana side dish is worth the trip. We always eat there and order another meal to take out for our next lunch or dinner! Very clean overall, modern casual decor with pleasing ethnic touches. Fabulous view overlooking the bay. Some seating on uncovered deck.
We used the online ordering, which was fast and easy. Our order was ready on time and they helped my husband bring the food out to the car. Everything was DELICIOUS! 10/10 would recommend this restaurant especially thali when it's the special for the week.
The food was so fresh and flavorful. My girlfriend and I are not vegetarian but regardless of the meat free menu it was amazing. Staff was very friendly great calming atmosphere. I've traveled all over the country and food in Maine is usually all the same. It's great to have an option like Namaste!!! Looking forward to returning.
I’ve eaten all over the world and I am a foodie... This by far hands-down is the best Indian food I have ever placed on my pallet. The view is astonishing but it’s nothing compared to the wonderful family that prepares your meal. Their kindness and thoughtfulness while we stayed at the motel for a week once we found out how good the food was we just kept eating there. Delicious food (get the tikka paneer!) and the chef is so kind - she really went above and beyond in making the dinner special for us after our long drive. Don’t miss this place!!
